Official Rules

John Shuman

As a second generation onion farmer, John continues a family tradition that spans more than three decades of devotion to the Vidalia onion industry. In 1986, John's father Buck Shuman was judged to have grown the sweetest onions in the Vidalia industry.

Alan Sikes

A farmer through and through, Alan prides himself on personally knowing every row of his Vidalia onions. He works 16-20 hour days in more than 600 acres of some of the most beautiful fields in the growing region here in southeast Georgia.

Brett Mclain

Brett, along with his brother Rusty, were both raised on the same farm where their father James was raised. And the same farm where the McLains continue a tradition of consistently and deliciously sweet Vidalia onions that began in the mid-1980's.
